 We are a faith community from the Judeo-Christian tradition that strives to put love and justice at the center of everything we do. We are a group of people who realized we wanted to live out our values of love and justice, and that we needed a faith community to do it. We recognize that there is a long tradition of people of faith
using that faith as their fuel to work for a more loving word, and more just
communities (we often call this “the narrative of love and justice”).
Our community is based on this belief: God is love, love is the center of all creation, and justice is the public expression of love. This means that we have faith that love and justice are real and powerful, even when at times it doesn't look like it. As a community, we look to live into this belief by discussing and learning about it, by celebrating it, and by working for it in our neighborhoods and communities.  Our Vision The vision of Spirit of Truth is a Minnesota and world where love and justice are at the center of our community and society, where people, through real relationships, dignified work, public voice and spiritual nourishment, live valued, meaningful lives. Our Mission The mission of Spirit of Truth is to be central to realizing that vision; to be a community of people that through spiritual practices, community relationships, action for justice and faith roots itself in the belief that love and justice are the central values in our world, and helps create a society that lives up to that belief.
